First, be very cautious about the following,

  • Use batteries that are only meant for your mobile phone.
  • Use chargers that are only meant for your batteries.
  • Do not overcharge (charging continuously for 24 hours or even more).

Now, I know that everyone of you want to squeeze the most out of it. but the question is, how? Ofcourse, there are a certain ways, following which you can increase your mobile battery life and power. First, know the type of batteries that mobile phone manufacturers produce. There are three most common types, Li-ion (Lithiom Ion), Ni-Cad (Nickel Cadmium), Li-Polymers (Lithiom Ploymers). You don’t have to understand the internal specifications of these batteries, but you must know that there are different types of batteries and that you cant use a battery just because it sits on your mobile. the following picture does not mean that the respective industries produce only those kind of batteries. They are just examples.

Tips to save battery power,

  • Using animated wallpapers and screensavers drain battery power, avoid using them.
  • Using the ringtones that comes with your mobile helps saver your battery power to a certain extend.
  • Dont use the mobile phone camera like if you were having a digital camera, coz the flash and photo editing softwares consumes a lot of power.
  • Reduce the brightness of your screen to the lowest visible point.
  • Applications like GPS, Wi-Fi and Push e-mail need a lot of power. Turn of these applications when not in use.
  • Even your blutooth headset consumes power, so use them only when it is necessary.
  • Your mobile games needs more power than all the above. So come to sense that you are not using a psp but a mobile phone.
  • Turn off your phone if you know that, you are in an area with no signal at all. Your phone loses battery power searching for signals.
  • Do not let your battery become ‘cold out’ too oftern.

Do you have an editor at Yahoo? If so, after reading this article, I hope he/she doesn’t get paid a high salary. Numerous misspellings and misuse of words. Pitiful to see such writing on your website.
